Gregory Scott is
Gregory Scott is an audio engineer and music producer based in Los Angeles, California.
Having cut his teeth as an engineer at Westlake Recording Studios, Gregory has been entrusted by world-class artists such as Tyler, the Creator, Jhené Aiko, The Weeknd, and Dominic Fike, to name a few. As a producer, he works with indie-label artists to help them find and hone their sound, focus the body of work, and stay the course.
Working deftly between genres from dance-pop to indie-rock to hip-hop and R&B, Gregory utilizes his experience at major label studios and as a musician for over 20 years to listen for what an artist is seeking in themselves and their music.
In 2020, he launched his independent record label, Off-Center Records, with co-founder Aaron Moxness. The label is home to those in the music world who hope to find new audiences for off-kilter sounds. It takes indie artists and celebrates them as the center of their own mainstream as they grow and develop on their personalized path, without binding contracts or backhanded deals.
As he moves from one project to the next, Gregory brings a fresh mindset and a unique approach, taking lessons from life and various vocations to solve problems in a way that cohesively suits the individuals in the room, not just the task at hand.
He is always looking for new connections and lifelong friends. If you have a project or just want to say hello, please feel free to reach out.
